Sharpen Right is a home based and mobile sharpening service located in League City Texas. Call to schedule an appointment to have your salon and barber and grooming shears, clipper blades, scissors and knives sharpened.
Sharpen Right specializes in professional sharpening of salon and barber shears, kitchen and culinary service blades. We use a professional state of the art sharpening system to make sure your knives have the proper edge angle and precision sharpness.
We service salon stylists, barbers and pet groomers. Restaurants, caters and other food service establishments and individuals. We also offer mail order sharpening.

WE SHARPEN SALON, BARBER AND PET GROOMING SHEARS
Shear Sharpening
Precision Sharpening $20.00 - $30.00 per pair for salon, barber and pet grooming shears. In salon or shop service with a minimum of 3 pairs of shears are $30 per pair. If you bring the shears to me in my League City shop there is no minimum and sharpening is $20 per pair. By appointment only.
I am a highly trained and competent professional who never takes shortcuts from the traditional Japanese methods to properly sharpen your cherished high end hair shears.
I use a Hira-To Flat Hone Sharpening System and Japanese Whet Stones and the utmost precision execution and care to sharpen, repair and restore your fine salon shears.

CLIPPER BLADE SHARPENING
SORRY NO MOBILE SHARPENING ON CLIPPER BLADES
All sharpening is done in my shop in League City. No mobile sharpening of clipper blades at this time. 10 blades or less are $8 each to sharpen. 10 or more blades are $6 each to sharpen. Turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours depending on how busy we are in the sharpening shop. Pickup and delivery of blades is available within 10 miles of League City. Call or text 832-640-6453 to discuss.
Knife & Scissor Sharpening Services
Kitchen Knives $1.00 per inch of the length of the blade.
Serrated Knives $8 flat fee
Cleavers $8 flat fee
Fixed Blade Hunting & Fishing
Knives $1.00 per inch.
Pocket knives $5 and up.
We use a Tormek T-7 sharpening system that uses a slow turning water stone wheel that keeps the edge angle from heating up while we put a perfect edge angle on your knives with precision sharpness. We also use the AMK-75 Professional Knife Sharpening Machine for speed and accuracy.
Scissors, Utility Shears and Pinking Shears
$10 per pair
We use the Wolff Industries The Twice as Sharp® Professional Scissors Sharpener is designed to make sharpening your shears fast, easy, and precise.

Upholsterer, tailors, alterations, sewing and quilting shops.
Are you a sewing or quilting shop, upholsterer or tailor or alteration shop? We will come to you to sharpen your shears, scissors including pinking shears for you or your customers. Call or text 832-640-6453 for an appointment. Minimum of $100 in sharpening services required.
